How do I turn a sketch into a realistic design?

Updated on November 3, 2026

Use the Sketch to Image workflow: upload your drawing, describe the garment in one line, and press Generate. It costs 1 credit on Standard and 3 on Pro, keeps the lines of your sketch, and returns a realistic garment in the colours and fabric you describe. It works on hand drawings, flats and digital sketches.
  1. 1.Open the studio and choose Sketch to Image in Workflows.
  2. 2.Upload your drawing in Your sketch.
  3. 3.Describe the garment in Outfit description, for example beige haute couture cropped jacket.
  4. 4.Choose a format, or leave it on auto to keep your sketch's proportions.
  5. 5.Pick Standard or Pro above the Generate button.
  6. 6.Press Generate.

Good to know

  • Name the material and the colour in the description: the drawing gives the shape, the words give the fabric.
  • To see the design worn, send the result to Product to Model, or apply a fabric you own with Insert Fabric on Sketch.
  • A clean line drawing on a white background gives the most faithful result.
  • To run the same workflow on a whole folder of sketches, use Bulk generation, from the Pro plan.
